9 things on love, relationships, and dating
Hello friend,
I am spending this week at home and the constant discussions around settling down are getting to me.
It is not like I am completely averse to the idea of marriage. But the truth is that it is not really on the top of my list, at least this year.
Nevertheless, it got me browsing and revisiting some articles, books, and other content about relationships, love, or dating which I once explored in the past.
And I found a few nuggets here and there.
So, this edition is going to be a small curated collection of such pieces:
- Vulnerability: Key to better relationships– An article by Mark Manson to understand the power of vulnerability
- How to be a power couple– A tweet thread on a powerful practice called Life Dinner to grow together in a relationship
- Date me docs and hyper-optimized quest for love: Recently came across this article while looking for alternatives to a marriage biodata. I think I might actually prepare a Date me doc! It sounds like a perfect mix of nerdiness and practicality to me! 😀
- The secret to finding a perfect partner– An article by Charlie Bleecker that has one of the best definitions of love, at first sight, I have ever come across!
- Do you know your relationship values?– A tweet thread to help you understand relationship values and how to create them.
- Healing Your Aloneness by Margaret Paul– A book on the inner child concept and how it impacts relationships
- Law of Fuck Yes or No– Another article by Mark Manson on improving your dating life
- 5 common adult relationship patterns that come from childhood trauma– Another insightful tweet thread by the Holistic Psychologist!
- The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz: A book that once got me out of a silly heartbreak while teaching about self-love, self-acceptance, and of course, love!
That’s all from me this week, folks!
Until next time
Love
